The 5 stages of corporate presentations
Stage 1: Define project objectives
Typically, this is done at a kickoff meeting that involves the project stakeholders. This meeting should look to establish objectives, stakeholders and reporting lines, the length of the deck, the intended audience, an initial script and any pre-existing brand guidelines.
Stage 2: Storyboarding
A visual sketch of the flow of the presentation should now be created, taking into account the context of the presentation and its different sections.
Stage 3: Visual direction
Based on the approved wireframes, a few key screens should be identified and visual designs rendered created for these. Ideally, two creative concepts are prepared, presented and then approved by the client.
Stage 4: Copywriting
At this stage, the copy is reviewed and approved to ensure that grammar, spelling and punctuation are correct.
Following approval of the structure, visual design, and copy, a full presentation will be artworked and supplied.
