At Make it Clear, we’re a collective of talented designers, researchers and digital specialists who work remotely to deliver exceptional work for a range of high-profile clients.
As our client base continues to grow, we’re looking to expand our network of trusted freelance designers who can support us on an ad hoc basis. Please note this isn’t a permanent role or a guaranteed number of days each month.
We’re looking for a versatile digital designer who is equally comfortable designing websites in Figma as they are creating polished marketing collateral, presentations and brand assets.
What you'll be working on
No two projects are the same. You could be working on:
• Website and digital product design
• UX wireframes and interactive prototypes
• User interface design and design systems
• Brand identities and visual assets
• Brochures, reports, presentations and other marketing materials
• Digital campaigns, social media assets and advertising
• Collaborating with our researchers and strategists to bring ideas to life
What we're looking for
You’ll have:
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital design across both web and print
• Expert-level knowledge of Figma (essential)
• Excellent skills across Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
• A strong understanding of UI and UX best practices
• Excellent typography, layout and visual design skills
• Great attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency across projects
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to collaborate within a remote team
• UK-based, with the ability to attend occasional in-person meetings when required
Bonus skills
• Motion graphics or animation (After Effects, Lottie or similar)
• Interactive prototyping
• Illustration or icon design
• AI-powered design workflows and tools
What you'll need
Successful applicants will become part of our trusted freelance resource network and will be onboarded into our systems.
You’ll need:
• A high-spec Mac capable of running Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud efficiently
• A reliable home working setup with fast internet
• Flexibility to support projects as and when opportunities arise
